1. Step-by-Step Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Installation
- Right-click the Installer, and
then click “Install or run program from
your media”.
- In User Account Control windows, and then click Yes button
- To create a new installation of SQL Server, select the installation option on the left, and then click “New SQL Server Stand-alone Installation or Add Features to an Existing Installation”.
- Setup Support Rules will run to identify problems that might occur during the installation, after the checks finished, click the OK button
- On the Product Key page, select the license type of the SQL Server. Click next button.
- Tick the “I accept the license terms” checkbox, click Next
- On the Product Update page, the setup will check for SQL product that needs to be updated, click Skip Scan if not require checking. Click next button.
- Then click the Install button, and then the SQL Server 2012 installation start.
- On the Setup Support Rules, will be identification of problems that might occur when installing SQL Server. To continue, click Next button.
- Choose SQL Server Feature Installation, then click the next button.
- Click Select All, and then specify the address of the SQL Server installation directory. To continue, click next button.
- After all the selected features (as needed), the Database Engine Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services and other features, click the next button to continue
- . Enter the name of the instance or can also use the default instance. Click Next.
- . In Disk Space Requirement window. Click Next
- Set the Account Name for each of the SQL Server Service and Startup Method. Click Next
- . Select "Mixed Mode (SQL Server Athentication and Windows Authentication)". Enter the password for the SQL Server (user “sa”). Click Add Current User to add current user login as an SQL Server administrator, click next to continue.
- . Determine the user account that will become the administrator for Analysis Services, click the next button.
- Determine the installation type for Reporting Services Configuration. Select "Install and Configure". Click the next button
- . On Distributed Replay Controller page, specify the user account that will be given permission to Distributed Replay Controller Service, and then click next.
- . Click next.
- . Click next.
- . Ensure that the test result on the Installation Configuration Rules have “Passed” value. Click next to proceed to the next page.
- Click Install button

- Download the prerequisite file from Microsoft site. Put the downloaded file into one folder
- Install the prerequisite file in this order:

4. Click Yes to
continue installation
. 5. Tick the “I
accept the terms of the license Agreement” checkbox. Click the Next button.
6. List of
SharePoint 2013 prerequsite file shown, click Next
7. Installation
process begin, wait until the process to finish.
8. Click Finish to restart the server
3. Install Sharepoint 2013
7. After the
installation finish, Tick the Run the
sharePoint Products and Tecnologies Configuration Wizard now checkbox. Click Close to start the
Configuration Wizard.
4. Sharepoint Configuration 2013
- On theSharepoint
Configuration Wizard, click Next button
- Click Yes to
continue.
- In Connect to a server farm page, choose Create a new server farm, click Next
- In Specify Configuration Database Settings page: a.
On Database server text box, fill the computer
name where the SQL Server.installed b.
On Database name text box, fill Configuration
database name or use defaul name such as SharePoint_Config c.
On Username text box, fill the user name
of the domain account to connect to the configuration database. d.
On Password text
box, fill the password of the domain account.Click Next.
- On Specify Farm Security Setting page, fill
in the Passphrase and click Next button.
- On SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard page. Tick the specify port number check box and fill the port number for Central Administration Web Application. Choose NTLM for Security Settings and click next.
- Make sure all of the information is correct. Click Next.
- Configuration process will start, wait until the process finish
- Click Finish
5. Farm Configuration Wizard
- Enter the
domain account user name and password, click OK
- On Help Makes Sharepoint Better.page, Choose “No, I don’t wish to participate” and click OK
- On Configure your Sharepoint Farm page. click Start the Wizard.
- For service account, you can choose to use existing managed account or create new managed account. Tick the services thatyou need, and click Next.
- Wait for configuration process to finish.
- On Create Site Collection page: · Type the title in Title text box. · Type the description of the site in Description text box. · Choose the URL for the site. · Choose what template that the site will use in Template Selection.
- Click Ok
- Farm Configuration Wizard process finish
